Abstract

Louis Vuitton's "Visionary Journeys" exhibition in Bangkok demonstrates how a luxury brand leverages heritage marketing in the luxury brand industry, blending cultural storytelling with experiential engagement. Launched in February 2024 at Gaysorn Amarin, the exhibition used immersive installations to showcase Louis Vuitton’s craftsmanship, iconic designs, and collaborations. This case study examines how Louis Vuitton and its exhibition utilize its rich brand history to resonate with younger consumers who value sophisticated narratives and shareable experiences.

The case study encourages learners to discuss how the luxury brand heritage becomes a marketing tool to connect with both existing and new customer segments and analyze how the free-admission exhibition made the brand more approachable through emotional connections and organic media coverage in the growing luxury market in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
