Abstract
DentPharma Innovations, a university-based venture at Nakhonthon University, initially aimed to solve issues of dental care supply and cost challenges in Thailand. Initially driven by social demand, it evolved into an academic entrepreneurship. However, the project faced a critical juncture between the department executives’ original philanthropic mission and the university's desire for effective production and commercial growth.
This fictional case study delves into the complex dynamics within the university setting, highlighting the tension between departmental aspirations and administrative goals. By exploring the project's evolution, challenges, and potential strategic options, this case study allows learners to understand and discuss the complexities of university-based ventures.
