Tesla, known for its breakthrough innovations in the electric vehicle (EV) space, is characterized by rapid growth and fierce competition and holding a dominant position globally. However, in Asia in particular, Tesla faces challenges from regional players like Chinese EV giants such as BYD. which are backed by government incentives and a proximity to understanding this regional marketing.
This case study delves into the financial aspects of business, providing data to analyze the financial elements in the EV industry, Tesla, and one of its competitors, BYD. The case study study analyzes Tesla's financial performance, focusing on factors influencing profitability like production efficiency, product mix, and regulatory credits.
