Abstract

The abstract of the case study examines the Vietnam Trail Series (VTS) approach to tourism, highlighting its positive impacts on destinations, participants, and stakeholders. It explores how VTS combines sport, nature, and culture through trail running events in various locations across Vietnam. 

The case study details VTS's efforts to promote sustainable and responsible tourism. VTS partners with local communities, NGOs, and environmental organizations to minimize the environmental impact of the races and give back to the communities. 

Looking ahead, VTS plans to expand to new locations, attract more domestic and international runners, and enhance the race experience. The marathon series remains committed to its core values of adventure, quality, and sustainability.
