Moner Bondhu is a Bangladeshi social enterprise dedicated to addressing the country’s mental health crisis through accessible and affordable support services. This case study explores the journey of founder Tawhida Shiropa, who turned personal struggles into a nationwide initiative.
Key issues examined include the organization’s financial sustainability, human resource development, and the integration of AI-driven tools to scale mental health services. Despite significant social stigma, limited resources, and structural barriers, Moner Bondhu has successfully balanced its social mission with financial sustainability by diversifying revenue streams, building strategic partnerships, and leveraging technology to enhance outreach and service delivery.
