Abstract
P&G’s strategic philanthropy in Thailand showcases its commitment to corporate social responsibility through the Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) program. During the 2011 floods in Thailand, which left millions in 60 provinces without clean water, P&G leveraged its innovative PURTM water purification packets to provide an affordable solution for transforming contaminated water into safe drinking water. Collaborating with local partners, such as the Princess Pa Foundation and community leaders, P&G ensured the effective distribution of over two million PURTM packets, to address urgent humanitarian needs.
