Abstract
Farm Fresh Berhad has emerged as a leading dairy company in Malaysia through its vertically integrated farm-to-consumer model, ensuring strong control over quality, supply, and freshness. Originally a local producer, it has expanded across Malaysia and into regional markets, supported by consistent branding and product innovation. This growth culminated in its listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia in March 2022 at around US$0.33 (RM1.35).
This case study evaluates Farm Fresh’s financial performance and investment potential within a fast-growing yet structurally challenging dairy industry marked by high capital intensity, import dependence, and shifting consumer preferences. Using financial data from FY2022 to FY2025, it analyzes profitability, liquidity, leverage, and valuation against industry benchmarks, inviting learners to assess the company’s attractiveness as an investment.
