Abstract
Carabao Group started as a local challenger brand in Thailand and later expanded into international markets. As it expanded, the company began to pay more attention to sustainability and how it could be part of its business. This case study examines how Carabao began to integrate sustainability into its operations, particularly as global expectations from regulators, investors, and consumers continued to rise. It also explores how the company used its supply chain, including its packaging businesses, to support these efforts.
The case study further examines how Carabao approached sustainability across different parts of the organization, including its environmental and social activities. It highlights some of the key decisions, internal changes, and challenges the company faced along the way. Overall, the case study invites learners to discuss how a growing company can balance business goals with sustainability, and what choices it may need to consider moving forward.
